Kerke KTE-75D Twin-Screw Pelletizing Line, designed for PPR modified with 40% glass fiber, delivered to the Algerian market

Kerke Extrusion Equipment has launched the KTE-75D high-torque co-rotating twin-screw modified pelletizing production line. This unit is custom-designed for PPR filled with 40% glass fiber reinforcement, with a stable production capacity of 600–800 kg/h, and will be used in a plastic modification project in Algeria.
The complete system is equipped with a multi-tier steel-frame loss-in-weight metering and batching system, featuring independent loss-in-weight metering for multiple raw material components. Glass fiber is fed via a lateral feeding process to prevent excessive shearing and breakage of the fibers in high-glass-fiber formulations, thereby ensuring the mechanical properties of the modified material. The main unit employs a 75mm modular twin-screw configuration, with the barrel and screw elements made of wear-resistant alloy to withstand the severe wear conditions caused by 40% glass fiber content. It is equipped with a multi-stage vacuum degassing system that effectively removes moisture and low-molecular-weight volatiles from the raw materials, ensuring the quality of PPR glass fiber compound suitable for pipe production.
The electrical system is compatible with Algeria’s 400 V/50 Hz industrial power supply standard, and core electrical components can be selected from leading international brands to facilitate local maintenance. The downstream pelletizing unit supports two optional configurations—strand water-cooled pelletizing and underwater pelletizing—to meet customers’ diverse requirements for pellet appearance. The entire machine is equipped with a PLC-based centralized control system, featuring visual parameter display and user-friendly operation.
According to the manufacturer, this production line is optimized for the operating conditions of modification plants in North Africa and can be integrated with a dust collection system to reduce glass fiber dust pollution. It also offers supporting services such as CE certification, on-site installation and commissioning overseas, technical training, and specialized spare parts packages for wear-prone components, helping overseas customers achieve stable production.
